Sonarika made her comeback on TV after 5 years in 2018 with a 45 episode season of Indian historical television series titled “Prithvi Vallabh – Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi”. She played the role of “Shirin”, a hot club singer opposite actor “Rajneesh Duggal”. In 2016, she made her Bollywood debut with the Hindi romantic horror film titled “Saansein”.
She played the role of “Neelaveni”, wife of actor “Vishnu Manchu”. The film was based on 2012 Punjabi language Movie titled “Carry on Jatta”. Later that year her another Telugu romantic comedy film titled “Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam” was released. The first to release was the romantic comedy titled “Speedunnodu”, where she played the role of “Vasanti” opposite actor “Bellamkonda Sreenivas”. In 2016, she played female lead in two more Telugu films. She made her debut on the silver screen with 2015 Telugu action film titled “Jadoogadu”, where she played the love interest of actor “Naga Shourya”. “Puja Banerjee” and “Suhasi Goradia Dhami” also played the different avatars of “Parvati” in the serial.Ī post shared by Sonarika Bhadoria on at 11:28pm PDTīut after her controversial exit from the show she again took a break from television to focus on Bollywood and south Indian cinema. She played the role of “Parvati” on Life OK’s popular mythological saga “Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev”, opposite actor “Mohit Raina” as “Mahadev”. While she was relaxing there, she was offered what will become a breakthrough role for her. The show didn’t work well in the TRP race and was taken off-air within 4 months.įacing two failures in such a short span of time, Sonarika decided to take a break from acting and spend time with her grandparents in Lucknow instead.
She played the role of “Abhilasha”, wife of actor “Ankit Narang”. Soon after Sonarika made her debut on small screen with Life OK channel’s 2011 soap opera titled “Tum Dena Saath Mera”. He auditioned her for an untitled serial and she got the lead role but the serial never went on air. Her friends and parents encouraged her to explore the entertainment industry and so during her Class XI summer vacations she auditioned for “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” producer “Rajan Shahi”.
